List of Places to Visit in Tripura
Tripura is a sloping state in
upper east India, verged on 3 sides by Bangladesh, and home to a differing
blend of innate societies and religious gatherings. In the capital Agartala,
the forcing Ujjayanta Palace is set among Mughal greenery enclosures, and Gedu
Mia's Mosque has white marble arches and towers. South of the city, Neermahal
summer castle sits amidst Lake Rudrasagar and mixes Hindu and Islamic
structural styles.
Toward the southeast, the
tortoise-formed Hindu Tripura Sundari Temple sits simply outside the city of
Udaipur on the shores of the extensive Kalyan Sagar lake. More distant south,
Mahamuni Pagoda with its brilliant towers is a critical Buddhist journey site.
Somewhere between Agartala and Udaipur, spectacled monkeys and obfuscated
panthers can be spotted among the greenery of Sepahijala Wildlife Sanctuary.
Toward the east, elephants and primates including gibbons and moderate lorises
live at the Gumti Wildlife Sanctuary. Neighboring Dumboor lake is home to numerous
types of water-winged animals.
