Dadra and Nagar Haveli is an
association region in Western India. It is made out of two separate
topographical substances: Nagar Haveli, wedged among Maharashtra and Gujarat,
and, 1 km toward the northwest, the littler enclave of Dadra, which is
encompassed by Gujarat. Silvassa is the capital of Dadra and Nagar Haveli. In
contrast to the encompassing zones, this was controlled by the Portuguese from
1783 until the mid-twentieth century.
