List of Places to Visit in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, the capital of the
northern Indian conditions of Punjab and Haryana, was planned by the
Swiss-French innovator planner, Le Corbusier. His structures incorporate the
Capitol Complex with its High Court, Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, and also
the mammoth Open Hand Monument. The close-by Rock Garden is a recreation center
highlighting figures made of stones, reused earthenware production, and
mechanical relics.
Chandigarh's War Memorial, set
in the midst of the Bougainvillea Garden, records the names of perished
warriors since 1947. Southeast, the man-made Sukhna Lake is a base for water
sports and safe houses transitory flying creatures. The rambling Zakir Hussain
Rose Garden contains several rose assortments and structures some portion of
Leisure Valley, a lace of themed city gardens. The Le Corbusier Center
narratives the historical backdrop of the city and its planner. Simply
northwest, the Government Museum and Art Gallery show work of art by Nicholas
Roerich and Sobha Singh, in addition to Gandhara models. The International
Dolls Museum shows dolls and manikins from around the globe.
